Debrox ear wax removal kit instructions9/12/2023 ![]() ![]() ![]() Also, each time you rinse your ear, you probably move things around a little bit. I could imagine the loosening effect becoming less strong over time, which is why I rinse my ears out, and drip more in. First, when it really starts working, you get a lot of bubbles and probably less concentrated liquid. I end up using more Debrox this way, but I think it's a good practice for several reasons.Big pieces can take 2-3 rounds sometimes before it even starts coming out although small debris-like particles start coming out in the first round for me most of the time. I tend to let it go as long as it can fizz for and then wash out my ears, but if nothing comes out I go for another round of Debrox. Sometimes the fizzing can go on for 15-20 minutes.I've found a lot of times my first round gets NO fizzing at all, but after flushing my ear, maybe just moving some hairs/earwax pieces around, all of a sudden the next drips of of Debrox are able to flow to the right areas and start working. If you still have no luck, flush out your ear (gently) with the water bulb, dry out your ear and try another round of Debrox.Sometimes this is enough to get the fizzing to start. Maybe the next time it flows down your ear canal it can penetrate better. What you're doing is swirling the liquid around essentially. Tilt your head back so the liquid stays in your ear. If you run into a no fizzing issue but you're sure something's there, try tilting your head to let the Debrox flow out but don't actually let it flow out.Perhaps some of the hairs in your ear canal blocking the liquid or preventing the Debrox from forming around the earwax to start dissolving it. Why does this happen? Think of surface tension of the liquid and how meniscuses can form in pipettes. There are times one year after my last cleaning where I use Debrox and I hear nothing even though I can feel something in my ear that needs cleaning. Fizzing = good that it's working, but sometimes you don't get fizzing.nothing coming out or no fizzing), so I'd like to share some of my personal tips based on the decade or so of using this product.įirst and foremost, I've been using Debrox maybe once a year, sometimes less, but more frequently I've been using it more (WFH + conference calls = more earwax buildup). ![]() Hi /r/earwax, I've seen some posts here where people are unsure about how to use Debrox or unsure if the results they are getting make sense (e.g. ![]()
